Suburban Family House

Every neighborhood has one house that everybody recognizes on sight, the two-story family home with a cluttered garage, a grill out on the terrace, and a pink car in the driveway that has clearly seen better days. This set rebuilds that cartoon-styled suburban house brick by brick, with a full interior you can open up, look into, and rearrange. It is a home with a story in every room.

This house opens up in every direction. Lift the roof to reach the upper floor, where a parents' bedroom with a crib, two furnished children's bedrooms and a full bathroom are detailed down to the lamps, books and wall posters. Lift that floor away and the ground level appears, a fitted kitchen with a yellow and light-blue tiled floor, a dining table with four chairs, and a living room with a couch, a working-style television and a purple piano beside the staircase. The whole structure is hinged through the center so it swings open for display, and the detachable garage alongside it holds a workbench, tool rack, vacuum cleaner and the family car with its opening trunk and famous dent.
