Motorized Coastal Lighthouse

Out on a rocky headland where the water turns rough, a lighthouse means one thing to anyone watching from the sea: you are almost home. This building set captures that patient, weather-worn landmark in brick form, from the tapered tower and its turning beam down to the keeper's cottage tucked against the rocks.

The tower lifts apart in sections so you can look inside at the winding staircase that climbs to the lamp room, where a custom-shaped clear element concentrates the light the way a real lens does. At the base, the keeper's cottage opens up to reveal a furnished interior and a hearth that glows on command. The rocky outcrop below hides a small cave, a set of steps down to the pier, and a buildable rowboat moored alongside. Two minifigures, a lighthouse keeper and a sailor, bring the scene to life, and the whole model stands 54 cm tall, giving it real presence on a shelf or mantel.
