Grand Town Hall

Every town needs a landmark at its center, and this stately civic hall is exactly that, a three-story municipal centerpiece crowned by a clock tower, built to anchor a whole street of modular buildings. From the columned entrance to the balcony where speeches are made, it is designed to be admired from every angle.

The building opens up floor by floor to reveal a fully furnished interior. The ground floor holds a grand hall, a records office and an auditorium; a working elevator carries two figures up to the second-floor offices, furnished with desks, chairs, artwork and a speaker's podium. The top floor is given over to a meeting room with a long conference table, chairs, a globe and planters, while a skylight set into the gray roof lets light down into the hall below. The bell tower carries a clock face, a bench and a maintenance ladder to the roof. Eight minifigures are included to bring the building to life, a mayor, a secretary, a bride and groom, a reporter, a janitor and two children.
