Dark Wizard Tower

A jagged black spire claws its way out of a barren plain, four horn-like peaks raking the sky. Behind its obsidian walls, six floors of secrets climb from a damp dungeon to a windswept summit, a stronghold built by a scholar who traded his library for an army. It is the kind of landmark that anchors an entire fantasy shelf.

Every floor opens up for play and display. The attic hides a folding staircase, three spare staffs, a pair of iron keys and a set of rolled maps. Below it sits a library stacked with books, torches and skulls, then an alchemy room crowded with a cauldron, bubbling potions, a powder keg and a heavy long axe. The throne room is the centerpiece: lamps, twin bookcases and a dark scrying orb lit from within by a genuine light brick. Down at ground level the great doors swing open onto a banner-hung entrance hall with a chandelier, a stone statue and a trap door that drops unwelcome guests straight into the dungeon below, where a chain, bones and a rat wait in the gray dark. Outside the walls, a poseable buildable tree guardian stands over nine inches tall with articulated limbs, gripping fingers and a swinging arm function, while a large buildable eagle sweeps in toward the tower top.
