Dark Spire Fortress

Some models are built to be admired, and some are built to loom. This blackened stone spire climbs out of a fortified base of ramparts, arches and a heavy iron gate, rising level by level to a crowning beacon of fire that dominates every shelf it stands on. It is the kind of centerpiece that changes the character of a room, and it rewards a long, patient build.

Behind the fortified curtain wall the tower opens across a series of furnished levels: a ground-floor forge and dungeon with a raisable cage, a dining hall above it, a throne room that swings open to reveal a hidden chamber, a private study higher up, and a tall library served by a rotating ladder. The main gate is mechanised and moves on a concealed linkage, jagged rock formations anchor the base, and the summit carries a fiery beacon that catches the light from clear across the room. The 10 included minifigures let you stage the whole fortress, sentries on the walls, prisoners below, and a commanding figure at the throne.
